The Council of Ministers has revealed the 34 municipalities of 14 Autonomous Communities, in addition to Ceuta and Melilla, that will host the nearly 20,000 affordable rental homes that will be built on Defense land in the coming years. Although Mitma has not yet specified the 50 actions that will be carried out, the amount of the land purchase operation between SEPES and Invied will be around 620 million euros for up to 8.25 million m2 of public land. Half of the homes will be on land in the city of Madrid (10,500 units), but in 24 of these locations the rental demand is currently low or very low, according to Idealista.

The city of Madrid accounts for the bulk of the number of homes in this initiative with 10,500 units , which the Ministry itself confirms will be found in different locations than those of Operation Camp, which is already in the process of purchasing land by Sepes al Invied. Behind this almost 53% of apartments on Defense land in the capital appears, at a distance, Sant Boi de Llobregat (8%) with 1,600 units in the area known as the Santa Eulàlia barracks.
